He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilbur James and Helen Orndorf (Kline); his daughter Patricia L. Hoover; and his siblings, James Orndorf and Sarah Gilmore.

He is survived by : his wife Karen Orndorf (Muller); his son Eric G. Orndorf of Yorkhaven, PA; his grandchildren, Nicholas Hoover, Matthew Orndorf, Laura Hoover and Rachel Orndorf; his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Carter; and his brother Robert Orndorf of McVeytown.
