She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Howard King and Ann Patterson King; her husband Michael Paterak; her daughter Melissa Thomas (Russell); her siblings, Katherine King and Brad King; and her grandchildren, Michael, Makayla, Reece Thomas and Ryan Thomas.

Memorial donations may be directed to The American Cancer Society in her name.
