She was predeceased by: her parents, James and Mary; and her brother Daniel. She is survived by: her children, Peter McHugh, Anne McHenry (Daniel), Christopher McHugh (Gurneet) and Caroline Scimone (Michael); her grandchildren, Aidan, Kieran McHenry, Siobhan, Deaglan McHugh, Colin, Moira and Ian Scimone; and her sister Nancy Roche.
