With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean A. Murphy of Springfield, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jean had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Jean may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her father Emmett Smith; her husband Patrick J. Murphy Jr.; and her sister Elizabeth Smith. She is survived by: her mother Elizabeth "Betty" Smith (Leinhauser); and her siblings, Joseph Smith, Michael Smith, John Smith Jeffrey (Elaine) and Margaret Andrelczyk. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
