Jerome F. Sheehan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerome F. Sheehan of Springfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 5, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Louise Sheehan; his siblings, John, Mary Bakey and Dorothy Gilligan; and his parents, Denis Sheehan and Cecilia Sheehan.
He is survived by: his children, Jerome, Jr., Dennis (Eileen), Mary Lou Gonzalez (Berto), John (Nicole), Thomas (Annmarie), Colleen Klapinsky (Josh) and Theresa Dorley (Andy); his grandchildren, Berto, Aine, Mary, Teresa, Charlie, Maria, Owen, Madison, Tara, Jerome, Colin, Shane, Ana, Andrew and Emma; and his sisters-in-law, Louise Sheehan, Kathleen Maguire and Christina Kugler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Dorothy Church (4910 Township Line Rd, Drexel Hill, PA 19026). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Dorothy Church (4910 Township Line Rd, Drexel Hill, PA 19026). A burial will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at the Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery (1600 Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA 19064).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jerry's memory may be made to St. Dorothy School, Drexel Hill.
