It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce E. Cariola of Springfield, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 19, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Frank A. Cariola, Sr.; her son Frank A. Cariola, Jr. (Arlene); her brothers, Ralph (Angie) and Robert Hummel (Marie); and her parents, Ralph Hummel and Margaret Hummel.

She is survived by : her close friend John Anthony "Tony" DiMilo; her son Joseph Cariola (Donna); her grandchildren, Stephanie, Frankie (Caitlyn Cepas), Zachary (Morgan), Rebecca (Mike Richman) and Nicholas Cariola (Mattie Zeigler); her great grandchildren, Gabriella and Scarlett Cariola; and her siblings-in-law, Vincent and Anna Mae Tavani. She is also survived by numerous Nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (2130 Franklin Ave, Morton, PA 19070).

In lieu of flowers an offering in Mrs. Cariola's name to The National Fallen Firefighter's Foundation P.O. Drawer 498 Emmitsburg, MD 21727 would be gratefully appreciated.
