She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph O'Brien and Ann O'Brien (Ricciardi). She is survived by: her husband Gerald M. Penrose (Jerry); her children, Katelyn P. Oliver (Craig), Gerald J. Penrose (Robbie) and Annie M. Finnerty (Ian); her grandchildren, Anna, Emily, Scarlett, Maeve, Sofie, Bennett and August; her sisters, Karen O'Brien and Joanne O'Brien Frazier; her nephew Bobby; and her nieces, Megan and Grace. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
