He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Schaum and Alice Schaum (Nee Owen). He is survived by: his wife Martha Schaum (Nee Kazanjian); his children, Andrew Schaum (Jennifer), Casey and Virginia Alger (J. C.); his grandsons, Jake and Max; and his siblings, Charlotte Roede and Richard Schaum.
