It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard D. Hickey of Springfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 22, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Hickey and Lillian Hickey (Desher); his wife Florence Hickey (Moore); and his brother Edward Hickey. He is survived by: his sons, David R. Hickey (Gail) and Robert Hickey (Joanne); his grandchildren, Rick, Shannon Kristen (Micah), Jessica and Brian; his great grandchildren, Ceana, Taryn, Kaylee, Kiernan, McKenna, Josselyn and Griffen; and his sister-in-law Peg Hickey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
