The memory of Rita A. Maltese (Springfield, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 12, 2026 at the age of 96, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Salvatore Maltese; her grandson Christopher; and her parents, Anna Monzo and David Monzo. She is survived by: her sons, Gaeton "Guy" Maltese (Kathy) and Richard "Rick" Maltese (Rachelle); and her grandchildren, Malissa Brady (Bill), Carla Botos (Pete), Thomas (Nicole), Erica Alexiadis (Steve) and Gregory (Heather). She is also survived by her 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (136 Saxer Ave, Springfield, PA 19064). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Francis of Assisi Parish (136 Saxer Ave, Springfield, PA 19064). A burial will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at the Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery (1600 Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA 19064).
