We announce the death of Thomas J. Gummel of Springfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 10, 2026, at the age of 53. He was predeceased by: his father Thomas C. Gummel. He is survived by: his mother Kathleen A. Gummel; his wife Selena Waxman; his child Brooke C. Gummel; his brothers, Daniel Gummel (Sunny) and Kevin Gummel (Alex); his sibling-in-law Stacey Waxman; and his mother-in-law Annemarie Waxman. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
