It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George J. McKeown of Springs, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James McKeown and Margaret McKeown (Abel); his daughter Sharon J. Lowrie; and his siblings, James, Thomas, William McKeown and Margaret Lawrence.

He is survived by : his wife Lynne McKeown (Yellitz); his children, Murray McKeown (Michele) of Limerick and Shelby Fennimore (Robert) of Gilbertsville; his grandchildren, Megan, Amber, Jonathan, Steven and Kristen; and his great grandchildren, Robbie, Sabrina, Nolan, Laurel and Matthew McKeown (Elizabeth) of North Wales.
