With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Ellen Kurtz of Spruce Creek, Pennsylvania, born in Wampum, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 18, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy John and Katherine Rosella Lancaster (Gregg); her brother Bruce C. Lancaster; her grandson Matthew; her great grandchild Eloise Faith; her siblings-in-law, Christina, Mary, Paul and Christian; and her son-in-law David Brennamen.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Caleb Kurtz; her children, Faith Wingate (Roger), Joseph Kurtz (Laurie), Connie Brennamen and David Kurtz (Maryellen); her grandchildren, Jason, Amanda, Joseph, Brian, Justin, Raymond, David, Brittney, Christine and Shawn; and her sisters-in-law, Martha, Eunice and Naomi Jean. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in remembrance of Ruth Ellen Kurtz may be made to the Spruce Creek United Methodist Church, 4938 Spruce Creek Road, Spruce Creek, PA 16683.
