He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Oree M. Carroll and Doris Carroll (Englander); his parents-in-law, Violet Lannen (Donley) and Daniel Lannen; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Davidson.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Carroll (Lannen); and his sisters, Ruth Ladenson (Jack) of Norwich, VT, Shirley Hardy (Jesse) of Julian, PA, Carol Alexander (Terry) of Julian, PA, Donna (Scott) of Virginia Beach, VA, Nancy Lannen of Nescopeck, PA and Kathy Stanton (Ken) of State College, PA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
