We are sad to announce that, on May 20, 2026, at the age of 95, Daniel Harvey Holter Jr. (State College, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Daniel departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Daniel may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Daniel leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Harvey Holter Sr. and Katharine Barnhart Holter. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Carlson Holter; his son Erik Holter (Kathie); his grandchildren, Jessica and Erin; his children, Kari Reyburn (Tom) and Neal Holter; and his sister Betty Deardorff. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
