Strouse of State College, Pennsylvania, born in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 10, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, George Thomas and Elsie Elverna Walker (Shaffer); and her siblings, Mildred Devlin, Ida Anderson, Adeline Lightner, Mary Gummo, Edna Louise Crock, Charles, James, Ray and Russell.
She is survived by : her husband John Lester Strouse; her children, Gerald Strouse (Denise) and Cindy Bierly (Jonathan); her grandchildren, Alicia Boyer (Brandon) and Mark Bierly (Trinity Witmer); her great grandchildren, Addison and Autumn Boyer; and her sister-in-law Shirley Walker. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Florence to a charity of the donor's choice.
