He was predeceased by: his parents, James M., I and Dorothy Mattas (Shute); and his brother Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl A. Coffman; his children, Jamie L. Mattas-Plowman, James M. III and Justin L. Mattas; his grandchildren, Abigail, Alexis, Emilee, Joshua Starr, Madison and Charlie Mattas; and his brothers, Jeffrey, Dennis, Todd and Scott Mattas.
