He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Canner and Ruth Canner; his brother Ronald Canner Jr.; his son-in-law Robert Hoffman; and his in-laws, Gene and Muriel Grazier.
He is survived by: his wife Alicia; his siblings, Paul Canner (Martha) and Jeanie Scheidecker (John); his sister-in-law Marilyn Canner; his children, Amara Hoffman (Tim), Seth Canner (Jessica), Ethan Canner (Beth), Bethany Canner (Tanya Belair), Judith Canner of Ruth's Shawl, Jordan Canner (Emily) and Christi Smith (Jeff); his grandchildren, Joel Canner, Aidan Canner, Arianna Fleck, Kaylana Hoffman, Donovan Hoffman, Tatiana Belair, Troy Canner, Brennan Canner, Nikolai Belair, Philip Canner, Ike Canner, Heidi Smith, Timothy Canner, Caleb Smith, Devynn Canner and Nathan Smith; and his great grandchildren, Cayden Fleck, Carter Fleck and Cassian Fleck.
