With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan B. Stangl of State College, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 19, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, William Boland and Helen Fagan Boland; her siblings, Ed, Bill, Barb and Lois; her husband Frederick Paul Stangl; and her children, Fred Stangl (Bonnie) of Lewes, DE, Brian Stangl (Terry) of Lewistown, PA, Kevin Stangl (Barb) of Cambridge, MD and Janine (Ken Coffin) of Red Lodge, MT.. She was also cherished by her five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
