He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Werner and Anna Werner; his wife Marjorie; and his brother Edward Werner of Erie, Pennsylvania.. He is survived by: his children, Preston Werner (Kiera) of Bethlehem, PA, Jennifer Werner (Katie Gerstle) of Northampton, MA, Jessica Holtzman (Scott) of Fairfax Station, VA and Andrew Werner (Kara) of Conway, Arkansas. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
