We announce the death of John T. Walizer (State College, Pennsylvania), born in Milesburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 13, 2026, at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Walizer and Leah Walizer (Lucas). He is survived by: his sons, Seth Walizer (Laura) of Fleetwood, Michael Walizer (Natasha) of Hershey and Robby Walizer (Katie) of Ambler; his grandchildren, Max and Charlie Walizer; his brother Curtis Walizer (Becky); and his wife Karen Elizabeth Walizer (Green).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Koch Funeral Home (2401 S Atherton St, State College, PA 16801).
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for all donations be made in John's memory to the Penn State Renaissance Scholarship Fund/ John T. Walizer and Karen E. Walizer Renaissance Scholarship, 329 Innovation Blvd., Suite 210 State College, PA 16803.
