He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Shaffer; and his siblings, Helen, John, Frances and James.
He is survived by: his siblings, Patricia Kowalick, Irene Bradshaw, Anthony, Patrick, William (Patricia), Robert (Jennifer) of Charlotte, NC and Thomas (Terry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (1115 Walnut St, Ashland, PA 17921). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (1115 Walnut St, Ashland, PA 17921).
In lieu of flowers the family prefers contributions, in Joseph's name, be made to the Memorial Fund of Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1115 Walnut Street, Ashland, PA 17921.
