He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bernier and Bertha Bernier; his siblings, Emmett, Francis, Allen, Douglas, William and Doris; and his wife Jane Ann (Navy).
He is survived by: his children, Eric Bernier (Tracy) of State College, Ann Stine (Don) of Marengo, Kathryn Pletcher (Darian) of Bellefonte, Kurt Bernier (Barb) of State College, Craig Bernier (Kim) of Bellefonte, Kent Bernier (Holly) of Bellefonte, Camille Bernier of Madison, WI and Jimmy (Katie) of Orlando, FL.. He is also survived by eight children and welcomed grandchildren, and eventually great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Penn State Nittany Lion Inn (200 W Park Ave, State College, PA 16803).
