He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Deppen (Lenker) and J. Forrest Deppen; and his brother John (Carolyn). He is survived by: his wife Winabelle; his brother George (Elaine); and his children, David Deppen, Mary Beth Holden (Bill), Sandra Baker (Greg) and Robert Deppen (Melanie Bauermaster Deppen). He is also survived by four nephews.
