She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Ungar and Tillie Ungar; her former husband Sy Barash; her husband W. Louis Coppersmith; her siblings, Yetta Kahn, Sylvia Glassberg and Calvin Ungar; and her nephew Calvin Kahn.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nan Barash (David Schwartz) of Bryn Mawr, PA and Carol (Jed Kwartler) of South Orange; her grandchildren, Zachery, Talia, Eliana Kwartler, Julia and Will Schwartz; her great grandchildren, Lucas Fischer Kwartler, Alexander Fischer Kwartler and Annette Philomene Holt; her brother Sanford Jerome Ungar (Beth) of Washington, D. C.; her niece Lida; her son Philip; her niece Marilyn Glassberg; and her nephew Mark Kahn.
