We are sad to announce that on March 3, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Nils C. Fernelius (State College, Pennsylvania), born in Columbus, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, W. Conard Fernelius and Naomi Fernelius (Baker). He is survived by : his sister Sigrid Byers of State College; his nieces, Debbie Hefferle (Brian) of Denville, NJ and Karin Byers (Bob Mowry) of Cranberry Township, PA; his nephew Eric Byers (Ida Pappas) of Hopkinton, MA.; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lauren Carlson, Matthew Hefferle, Kristina Hefferle, Alyson Hefferle, Sarah Mowry, Katie Mowry, Bronwyn Pappas-Byers and Linnea Pappas-Byers.

Contributions may be made in memory of Nils Fernelius to the Centre County Historical Society, 1001 E. College Ave., State College PA 16801 or to Juniper Village at Brookline SNF, 1950 Cliffside Dr., State College PA 16801.
