She was predeceased by: her parents, John Strouse (Jack) and Ethel Strouse (Corl). She is survived by: her husband Clifford Way, Jr.; her children, Angela Marie Way of Baltimore, Amy Elizabeth Bowen (Marcus) of Cary, NC and Matthew Guy Way (Jose Rincon) of State College; her grandchildren, Maya Bowen and Baby Bowen; and her siblings, Ronald Strouse (Deborah) of State College, David Strouse (Melissa) and Molly Kline (Kenneth) of Spring Mills.
In lieu of flowers, Sylvia requested that memorial contributions be sent to Pine Hall Lutheran Church, 1760 W. College Avenue, State College, PA 16801.
