She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Louhoff and Mabel Clara Critzer; her son William Marvin Houpt, Jr.; and her siblings, Clara J. Belew (Louhoff), Grace V. Tharp (Louhoff), William H. Louhoff and Kenneth J. Louhoff.
She is survived by: her daughter Gwendolyn "Susie" Hose (Terry); her daughter-in-law Mary E. Houpt; and her grandchildren, Cathy Welty (Rob), Brian Houpt (Angie), Jeff Hose, Kevin "Speedy" Houpt (Janell) and Sandy Ely (Chad). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Evangel Baptist Church (17922 Broadfording Rd, Hagerstown, MD 21740). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
