He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Thomas and Deasrie Thomas (Murray); his son Duane Thomas; his sister Eleanor Ann Wallace; his granddaughter Ashley Thomas; his goddaughter Sodea; and his wife Gwen Cole.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory, David Jr., Anthony, Steven, Terrance, Cordero and DaVida; his grandchildren, Ryan, Darius, NaZir, Cordero Jr. and Isaiah; and his sisters, Barbara Barksdale (Shirley Williamson) and Delores McArthur. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and countless friends.
