While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his sister Rose Wright. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Wright; his daughters, Carolyn Wright of Baltimore, Angie Wright-Dickerson of Baltimore and Kristina Miller of Jonestown, Pennsylvania; his sons-in-law, Jeff Miller and Mario Bates; and his siblings, Esther Bates and Joseph Wright, Jr.. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel of the Major H. Winfield Funeral Home (704 N Front St, Steelton, PA 17113). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
