He was predeceased by: his parents, Christine Dixon and Harry Harris; and his sister Joyce Harris. He is survived by: his children, Atman Walters and Clover Walters; and his siblings, Roger Dixon, Sr., Debra Harris-Washington, Gail Rawlings, Christine Harris and Gwendolyn Harris. He is also survived by grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
