In the vast expanse of eternity, Monte shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Monte farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellwood and Margaret Smith Fitting. He is survived by: his children, Monte V. Fitting (Maryann) of Middletown and Christine M. Fitting of Camp Hill; and his half-sisters, Cherie Dillow of Mt. Joy and Nadene Moser of South Carolina.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services (357 S Harrisburg St, Oberlin, PA 17113). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church (815 S 2nd St, Steelton, PA 17113).
