He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix C. Olsommer and Emily Olsommer (Jones); and his brother Ronald F. Olsommer. He is survived by: his wife Janet Olsommer (Hinds); his sons, Donald E. Olsommer, Jr. (Alene) of Sterling, Jeff Olsommer (Kelli) of Sterling and Keith Olsommer (Mary Ann) of Sterling; his sister Helen Leahey of Georgia; his grandchildren, Phoebe, Betsy, Garrett, Mackenzie, Logan and Liam; and his great grandchildren, Charli, Daisy and Genevieve.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM and on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sterling United Methodist Church (567 Sterling Rd, Newfoundland, PA 18445).
