It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irene M. Rutt (Stevens, Pennsylvania), who passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Weber and Lydia Weber (Martin); her husband Eugene H. Rutt; her sons, Wilmer Rutt and Galen Rutt; her grandson Brian Lee Rutt; and her siblings, Edgar Martin, Ivan Martin, Henry Martin, Anna Hursh, Peter Martin, Amos Weber, Mary Weaver, Ida Weaver, Mabel Hurst, Martin Weber and Raymond Weber.
She is survived by: her children, Rosanne (Larry Burkholder) of Ephrata, Karen (Kenneth Wanner) of Denver, Dean Rutt of East Earl and Gary Rutt of Denver; and her daughters-in-law, Sandy Stoltzfus and Gladys Sensenig. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fairmount Homes Wheat Ridge Chapel (333 Wheat Ridge Dr, Ephrata, PA 17522). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Mennonite Fellowship (335 N Line Rd, Stevens, PA 17578).
