He was predeceased by: his father Elam Burkholder; and his brother Leon. He is survived by: his mother Fern Burkholder (Burkholder) of Ephrata; his wife Almeta Burkholder (Zimmerman); his children, Alicia (Kendal Burkholder), Carleen (Justin Sensenig), Laronda (Glendon Burkholder), Donnita (Benjamin Burkholder), Wilson Burkholder and Destiny Burkholder; his grandchildren, Delvin, Daxton, Trent, Darryn, Aiden, Evan and Judson; and his siblings, Grace Ann (John Lehman), Nelson Lee (Marcela), Mervin Ray (Brenda), Glen (Judy), Martha (Conrad Martin), Durrel (Christine), Sylvia Faye (Harold Case, Jr.) and Gerald Burkholder (Ephrata).
Viewing will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Middle Creek Mennonite Fellowship Center (520 PA-897, Reinholds, PA 17569). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Muddy Creek Mennonite Church (988 Beam Rd, Denver, PA 17517).
