He is survived by: his wife Anne (Rowan); his children, Stephen Thompson (Debbie), Mary Ellen Cuthie (Ed), Anne Marie Thompson Brady (Tom) and Alison Plowman (Jon); his grandchildren, Kyle Thompson (Katelyn), Tyler Brady (Mercedes), Kendall Winters (David), Taylor Brady (Michael), Alayna Tawney, Emily Roslin (Michael), Ryan Cuthie (Leah), Taryn Brady, Corinne Brown (Tez), A. J. Plowman and Mackenzie Plowman; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Blakely, Wolfgang, Sunny Grace, Tiffany, Lemmy, Gionni, Kayden, Carmine and Rocco; and his siblings, Rose DiVenti, Michael Thompson, James Thompson (Alice) and Patricia Miles.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. (19 S Main St, Stewartstown, PA 17363). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (315 N Constitution Ave, New Freedom, PA 17349). A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens -Timonium (200 E Padonia Rd, Timonium, MD 21093).
