As we bid Lydia farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lydia is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles R. Bednego and Frances F. Bednego (Laffoon); her husband John J. Hoeck, Jr.; and her sisters, Shirley, Barbara and Connie.

She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Menser (Michael "Mike") and Bradley Simpson; her grandsons, Andrew Menser and Evan Menser; and her siblings, John Bednego and Carol Simpson (Larry).
