Charles D. Montgomery Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles D. Montgomery (Stoneboro, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 10, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles D. Montgomery to pay them a last tribute.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Charles leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles B. Montgomery and Hattie I. Jones Montgomery; and his wife Donna J. Rickert. He is survived by: his children, Laura L. Paxton (Steven), Margaret R. "Maggie" Oakes, Jr. (Ralph) and Dale L. Montgomery of Grove City. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church (2426 Scrubgrass Rd, Grove City, PA 16127).
