She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Firster and Marie Firster (Wood); her husband Louis J. Barwell, Sr.; her son Louis Barwell, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Renee Barwell; and her brothers, Walter, Harvey and Ralph Firster.

She is survived by : her children, Dan Barwell of Cambridge Springs, Lois Almoney (George) of Stoneboro and Sherry Mooney; and her sister Elsie Boughner of Mercer.
