He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Merringer and Leona Merringer (Dove); and his sister Karen Merringer. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Koontz; his children, Jason Merringer (Maggy Miller) and Jill Kalaha (Christopher); his grandchildren, Tasha Merringer (Giovanni Salmeron), Tess Merringer (Sterling Vamos), Kinter, Kylan and Kyree Kalaha; his great grandchildren, Natalia, Nayeli, Nevaeh Salmeron and Lorenzo Vamos; and his siblings, Dennis Merringer (Elaine), Brenda Zimmerman (Michael) and Dr. Mickey Merringer.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Horner Lutheran Church (415 Horner Church Rd, Stoystown, PA 15563).
