Florence Shaffer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence Shaffer of Stoystown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 18, 2026 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Shaffer and Margaret Shaffer (Hughs); her husband Clair W.; her daughter Valli Hall; and her sister Amanda Shaffer.
She is survived by: her sons, Kerry (Deborah) of Gladwin, MI and Michael Shaffer (Susan Wallin) of Round Lake, NY; her son-in-law William Hall (Fran); and her grandchildren, Christopher Hall (Laura), Melanie Brummeler (Cory), Amanda Bredl (William), Lindsay Mastrogiovanni (Michael), Amy Archey (Jonathan), Kelly Topa and Stephen Montanaro (Katie). She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, PA 15963.
