He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Saylor and Annie Saylor (Gindlesperger); his wife Viola Klink; his son Jay Hay, Jr.; his sisters, Helen Witt, Mary Saylor and Phyllis Cober; his brothers-in-law, Paul Witt and William Cober; and his brothers, Richard and Carl Saylor.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Jane Hay, Bill Hartge (Karen), Cathy Koontz (Rodney) and Donna Hay; his daughter-in-law Sandy Hay; his grandchildren, Jessie Hayes (Morris), Josh Hay (Ashleigh), Hope Duman (Tom) and Heather Hay (Bryan); his great grandchildren, Lukka, Fletcher, Emory (Ashlyn), Justin, Camrian, Falyn, Zariah, Matthew, Alyssa, Hannah and Noah; his siblings, Robert Saylor (Darlene) and Shirley Reed (Ed); and his sisters-in-law, Lois Saylor and Karol Saylor. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
