She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford McQuate and Ruth McQuate (Swartz); her husband James D. Walter; her son Michael E. Cauler; and her siblings, Dorothy Walter, Janet Elliott, Betz Spang and Lucy Keener.
She is survived by: her daughter Dixie Colvin (Thomas) of Lancaster; her grandchildren, Timothy Torrens (Breanna West) of Elizabethtown, Rachel Hardy (Jacob Chestnet) of Lancaster, Lenaya Brooks (Shamar) of Lancaster and Hunter West (Gilmarie); and her siblings, Mary Walter (David) of Reinholds, PA, Edwin McQuate of Wyomissing, PA, Nancy Rouss (Todd) of Lebanon and Paul Allen McQuate (Margo) of Womelsdorf, PA. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
