He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Deckman and Thelma Deckman (Guie). He is survived by: his wife Avis Deckman (Irvin); his children, Michele (Michael Gerberich) of Conestoga and Michael Deckman (Rebecca) of Strasburg; and his grandchildren, Haley Gerberich, Hannah Gerberich, Jaden Maldonado, John Deckman and Lainie Deckman.
The military honors will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Strasburg Mennonite Cemetery (New Section) (1514 Village Rd, Strasburg, PA 17579).
