In the vast expanse of eternity, Linda shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Linda farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Wilbur Hummel and Lois Hummel (Kendall); her husband Carl D. Stoots; her children, Jay D. Stoots and Cynthia Stoots Shank; and her sister Janet S. Vaccaro.
She is survived by: her son-in-law John P. Shank (Cynthia); her grandchildren, Zachary J. Shank and Emily M. Shank; and her pet Wilbur. She is also survived by extended family, dear friends.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Strasburg (101 S Decatur St, Strasburg, PA 17579).
