We are sad to announce that on November 22, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Lois Y. Spearing of Strasburg, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Lois is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Lois' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Byers and Kathryn Byers (Plowman); her husband Samuel R. Spearing; and her son John Spearing. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Sorensen (Tom) of Huntingdon, PA., Linda Werner of New Mexico, Samuel Spearing (Kim) of Holtwood, PA., Richard Spearing (Sherri) of Holtwood, PA. and Joseph Spearing of North Carolina. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (119 S Prince St, Lancaster, PA 17603). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
