He was predeceased by : his parents, Alec Shovestull and Helen Shovestull (Tucker); his daughter-in-law Shari Shovestull; his siblings, Betty Lerch (Huck) and Harry Shovestull (Idabell); and his siblings-in-law, Bob Reddinger, Bill Fagley (Gloria), Bob Fagley (Silvia), Walt Fagley (Ruby), Paul Fagley and Bernice Heinrich (John).

He is survived by : his wife Linda L. Shovestull; his children, Paul E. Shovestull and Donna Shovestull-Buckner; his grandchildren, Kris Minich (Sasha), Becca Pettit (Shaun), Katie Kaber (Adam) and Ethan Moon (Cass); his great grandchildren, Keagan, Charleigh, Hayden, Paul, Kace and Kaleb; his sisters, Bernice Smith (Glenn) and Lois Reddinger; and his sister-in-law Judy Fagley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
