Beverly Jean Rode Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beverly Jean Rode (Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 18, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to Beverly's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Beverly has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She was predeceased by: her husband David Allen Rode; her parents, Carlyle James Strunk, Sr. and Mae Decker (Kresge); her son George Thomas "Tommy" Strunk; her brothers, Carlyle "Butch" Strunk, Jr., Bruce Strunk and William "Bill" Strunk; and her close friend Patricia Baird.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kelli Jean Rode and Melissa Counterman; and her brother Charles Strunk of Reeders. She is also survived by two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
