Though Deborah may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Deborah touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband J. Patrick Hickey, Jr.; her sister Elizabeth "Betsy" Peeney; and her parents, Walter S. Peeney, Sr. and Catherine Burke Peeney. She is survived by: her brother Walter S. Peeney Jr. (Janice) of Stroudsburg; and her grandchildren, Emily Ann Hickey, Grace Catherine Hickey, Luke Daniel Hickey and Jackson Bennett Hickey. She is also survived by her three children and their spouses.
