She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Grant and Bernice Grant; her husband Martin Barnes; her son Gregory Barnes; and her grandson Oliver Barnes.
She is survived by: her daughter Antoinette Barnes of Saylorsburg, PA.; her grandchildren, Joycelyn, Mya, Antwon, Cierra and Miykael Barnes; and her siblings, Barbara Grant, Deborah Bolt (Carl), Julius Grant Jr. (Carolyn), Sandra Roach, Jeffrey Grant, Cynthia Peterson (Tom) and Leona Hammond. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
